Eric repainted the maze. The first-person materials are painterly
sandstone, flagstone, and iron; the hand-drawn token set is redrawn
with matching chests and hats; the standing conjurations — hedges,
jello, dust, safe, warp light — and the effect billboards are redone
in the same hand; and the board's flourishes trade their filters and
gradients for flat cel silhouettes cut from five shared shapes, which
read better against the counters and cost a phone nothing. Thirty
scene goldens re-blessed against the new walls.

The Democratic Monster goes crab-red (two heads, per the card), the
rock warms to brown against the gray stone, and the ooze and slime
split on silhouette — one stands up toothy, the other hangs and drips.

The symlink into research/ becomes real files: public/tokens-svg now
owns the hand-drawn set, edited in place and served as-is by the dev
server. The research folder is scaffolding with a demolition date,
not a place for shipped assets to live.
