The guide, the hall, the room page and the explanations after a turn
lose their closing aphorisms, most of their semicolons, the
statement-colon-example lines and the page narrating itself. The
tagline is one sentence, and 'a labor of love' is gone from the about
link. The chronicle's imagery and the in-world names stay.
Corrected along the way: a counter-spell does stop wound spells and
lightning (the guide said it did not); a shield is not the only defence
against a newly summoned creature; on the first turn a knife can hurt
you; a palm is no defence against a fireball; a goblin needs five turns
to match one; and only the offline duel lives in the browser.

From feedback on the BoardGameGeek thread. The hands are framed and
labelled as yours, so they no longer read as sitting under your
opponent's columns. A move can be typed: the first letter goes to the
left hand, the second to the right, K stabs, a dash rests, Backspace
takes one back and Enter seals. The chosen pair, what it will do, any
warning and the button now sit in one row that stays in view. A clap
with one hand is warned of before the turn is sealed. The button says
what the player does: Seal the turn. The chronicle reads oldest first
and scrolls to the newest line. Headings, tabs and notes lose the
label-and-colon construction and the abstract headings; the chronicle's
imagery stays.

A few counts that are the game's story (games finished, how they were
won, hours at the table) stand large on cards in the accent color, the
rest follow in a column of figures, then the fine print: Tally.svelte,
shared through the kit, with each game choosing its counts and words.

"About this game — a labor of love" opens a dialog with the game, the
tally, more games and a way to send word each on a tab of its own
(About.svelte, shared through the kit), instead of one long fold at the
foot of the hall. Arrow keys walk the tabs; Escape or a click outside
closes it; a link to #about opens it.

Ported from the game kit (7aa0553). GET /api/tally scans the ledgers,
replays each duel, and returns the counts, cached a minute; the duel's
own lines come from tallyOf on the final state (wins by slaying or by
surrender, draws, wizards slain and yielded, stopped moments). The hall
fetches it when the about panel opens.

Brought over from the game kit, where they were ported from Wiz-War. The
host may let the Peanut Gallery talk; a watcher signs a name no seat
holds. A seated wizard may challenge Kestrel, the keeper: a seat is held,
the call rings Sentry once per table, and the lobby says what hour it is
where the keeper lives. A finished table may call for a rematch with the
same company and bots, seats held. Transfer seat mints four words good
for ten minutes and one use; the hall claims them. The hall forgets a
held seat only on the second refusal in a row.

A Report button in a room's masthead files what happened and what was
expected, with a screenshot if there is one, pinned to the room and the
turn and rung through Sentry. Reports and the keeper's replies live in
feedback.jsonl beside the ledgers; the hall shows each seat's reports
with the thread under them and a line to answer. pull-reports.sh mirrors
the desk locally, report-reply.sh answers, and a skill works the desk.

The about panel gets wizwar's contact paragraph (mail, Bluesky, Mastodon,
the source), and the colophons, the guide and the rules page each carry
a one-line way to report a rule read wrong.

A room's link without a seat is now a place in the gallery: a tokenless
view that withholds any gesture hidden from anyone at the table, counted
for the table and the lobby. Seated wizards can talk; each line is a
ledger line, shown in the rail and in the lobby, and the hall counts
what was said while you were away. The hall's pitch no longer says two
wizards.

A walk through the hall, the table, the ledger, the hands, the warnings,
the reveal, the rail and the phone layout, in the game's voice, with a
figure for each. Linked from the hall, both board pages and the rules.

Rooms take up to twelve seats and the host begins the duel with whoever
is seated; a full table begins by itself. The lobby is a roster with a
bot seat and the host's begin button. The ledger pins the turn and your
own columns and scrolls sideways to the rest; the phone bar shows every
wizard's health; a wizard who is out watches the rest; each charmed
wizard gets their own gesture; an unnamed spell goes at whoever hurt you
last, else the weakest opponent; a stab has a target from the start.

The home page is a centred card: title and pitch, your name, play the
bot or continue the duel under way, create or join a duel by code, a
sample ledger, the duels this browser holds with whose move it is, and
the story of the game. The single-player board lives at /play. The
droplet gains the duel server as a systemd service behind Caddy.

The store plays any seat, locally against the bot or remotely through
the server. A room has a four-letter code that is also its invite link;
the hall opens or joins one and lists the seats this browser holds with
whose move it is. The ledger and summary show every seat, threats name
their wizard, and the board is one component shared by the hall and the
room page.
