title: Rutabagas?
---
[Sorry, Schlake](http://www.nmt.edu/~schlake/daily.html). I'd thought your 'turnips' were just soaking up pork juices and seasonings. If that's their native color, then they're not turnips at all but good old [rutabagas](http://www.boannsbanks.com/newsletter/Newsletter06012002.doc).
