Eric WagonerandClaude Fable 5.1 60435fef84 The hall keeps the night on the shared host: one job runs every game's rollup and backup and checks in with Sentry once for each
Eight cron monitors, two per game, watched eight scripts that run on the
same box at the same two minutes. hall-nightly.sh now runs the hall's own
rollup and every game's rollup at 00:12, and every game's backup at 07:23,
finding the games by their scripts in /usr/local/bin, and checks in once
for each job to the gamehall project's hall-rollup and hall-backup
monitors. The template's rollup and backup say by their exit status
whether they managed, the skipped backup included, and its deploy leaves
the game's own cron file off a host the hall schedules.

Eric WagonerandClaude Opus 5.5 f5b7416a9e From Hnefatafl's second credibility pass: traffic.py parses each request once and counts visits one way, the rollup's check-in has one comment, and the hall's tally drops its leftovers

Eric WagonerandClaude Opus 5.5 f0d7237c2b The rollup and the backup check in once, when they end, with the run's duration
A start and a finish sent seconds apart can reach Sentry in either order,
and a start that lands second is never closed, so a fast rollup was
reported as a timeout on nights it succeeded. Hnefatafl's monitor did so
nine nights in fifteen. One check-in at the end cannot race; a run that
hangs sends nothing and is marked missed.

Eric WagonerandClaude Opus 5.5 ae904aa88c Traffic counts what matters: rooms opened from the site, where links were shared, scanners and monitors as bots
- A room opened with Play now never loads /join: the API's answer to
POST /api/rooms is counted as rooms opened here.
- Link previews (Slack, Discord, Facebook, iMessage, WhatsApp and the
rest) are reported as where the link was shared, since the people who
click them arrive with no referrer. WhatsApp's fetcher is a bot now.
- An address that asks for a scanner's paths, or keeps coming back
without opening a game, is a bot's all day; so is a browser that loads
pages at a steady interval from a new address each time, never
playing. A declared bot is still judged request by request.
- The site's own addresses, sslip.io included, are not referrers.

Eric WagonerandClaude Fable 5.1 33ac0ec808 The credibility pass on Hnefatafl, ported to the template: the ops scripts count traffic through one parser, the reports digest is one program, the plaintext-token fallback and its migration are gone, and the stylesheet holds each shared rule once
From the hnefatafl repo's pass of the same day, everything that touched a
kit-shared file. The visitors digest and the nightly rollup share
deploy/traffic.py, installed to /usr/local/lib/<slug>; the rollup writes
the finished-games count it computed behind "and False". pull-reports.sh
and the reports skill both use deploy/report-digest.ts. The seat line
requires its token hash and the start line its rules revision; the
migration for ledgers written before hashing goes with them. The route
table in server/src/index.ts lists every route; Report, ReportLine and
Tally are declared once in view.ts for both sides; exports nobody
imported are exports no more.

In the client: .small, the × that dismisses, and the frame of the
reading pages are in app.css once; the preferences panel shares the
report slip's modal shape; the room store gains seatEmpty and
seatUnheld, and the lobby and the join page read those instead of
three spellings of their own. The room's moved and awaiting fields
stay: the demo board reads them, and simultaneous rounds are the
contract.

The deploy README no longer describes a browser-only game; the visitors
skill no longer names a /play route; the reports skill's replay call
carries the room's options. The Slack channel id is passed in the
environment rather than filled in as a placeholder.
