In the same vein as [_Letters from a Nut_](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D0380973545/thementormercantA/103-4738232-7183844), several companies from Quaker State to Elmer's Glue were sent emails that in a round-about way asked about Y2K.
