Memepool pointed me to [a drinking song by [Hilaire Belloc](http://www.synasoft.com/~rfreeman/belloc.html) about the [Pelagian Heresy](http://www.britannia.com/history/bb418.html) \-- a backlash against [St Augustine](http://www.encyclopedia.com/articles/00897.html). Digging deeper, I found a poem titled [_Jim Who Ran Away From His Nurse and was Eaten by a Lion_](http://www.synasoft.com/~rfreeman/jim.htm), which was very reminiscent of [Shel Silverstein.](http://falcon.jmu.edu/~ramseyil/silverstein.htm)
