I just spent three hours laying sod. I'd vever done that before, and it was fun, dirty work. The kicker is that we laid it all inside, on stage, for a production of _Much Ado About Nothing_ that opens Friday at Athens' [Town & Gown](http://www.negia.net/~tandg) theater. It came out looking very nice indded. And the smells! We put plenty of pine bark mulch under the sod for padding and bulk, and the smells are very pleasant indeed. It'll add a whole new dimension to experiencing the show.
